SEABIOTECH is a leading company in the processing of seaweed from the Chilean coast, using sustainable methods and under fair trade conditions. We are focused on circular economy, and our aim is to transfer the nutritional properties of seaweed to agriculture in a sustainable way, in order to achieve a higher productive potential and crop quality.
To achieve this, we collect and extract seaweed mainly from the north of Chile, using techniques that do not generate waste. Then, through a process of dehydration and milling, we obtain a seaweed concentrate that is transported to our plant in Quilicura, in the city of Santiago.
At our plant, we carry out strict quality control to ensure that the seaweed extract maintains all its nutritional properties to produce our fertilisers.
