On May 6 and 7, 2026, the 10th edition of the Redagrícola Chile Conference: Biologics, Table Grapes & Cherry Trees took place at the Monticello Event Center. Organized by Redagrícola, this event is one of the leading technical gatherings in the national fruit-growing sector.
In this latest edition, SeaBiotech played an active role in a forum that brought together knowledge, innovation, and technical expertise, promoting in-depth analysis, specialized discussion, and knowledge transfer among producers, consultants, researchers, and companies in the agricultural sector.
Representing SeaBiotech were Luis Mansilla (Technical Sales Manager at SeaBiotech) and Jaime Navarrete (Advisor and Researcher), who presented the technical talk titled:
“Cherry Tree Productivity and Stressful Soils: Lessonia spp. Algae, and the Benefits of Its Application to Soil.”
The presentation was divided into two parts. In the first part, Luis Mansilla discussed the origin of Lessonia spp., algae, the extract development process, and the key differentiating attributes of SeabioSOIL®, highlighting the technical approach behind the solution and its application under soil stress conditions.
Subsequently, Jaime Navarrete presented the main results obtained from his research on cherry trees, evaluating the application of SeabioSOIL® to the soil and its effects on crop productivity and performance.
SeaBiotech’s participation in this conference reaffirms its commitment to developing solutions based on research, innovation, and applied knowledge, contributing to more efficient and sustainable agriculture.
We would like to extend our special thanks to the Redagrícola organization for the invitation and for creating high-level technical forums that foster the exchange of experiences and advance the fruit industry in Chile and Latin America.
